There is a method to recover (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ra705fHyrY YOUTUBE = 2ra705fHyrY), but it requires a PC rather than a Mac. I have dusted off an old PC, think the windows version is too old to work with the current gopro studio (W7+), I have been at it for an hour and wish I hadn’t tried to downgrade. be warned.
